If you need a warm place to spend a bit of time, the county recommends the community centers. Their locations and hours:

The Northeast Community Center

Open Sunday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday- Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m

The Mount Hope Community Center
100 Pushaw Station Road
Sunderland
Open Monday-Saturday from 8:30 a.m.

Shelters Busy Finding Warm Places for Homeless to Stay

As temperatures dip, homeless shelters are taking steps to make sure people have a warm and safe place to stay. The people who run Prince George’s County’s Warm Nights program are busier than usual finding shelter for those who need it. Prince George’s County Bureau reporter Zachary Kiesch has more on what they are doing to make sure everyone who needs it has some place to go.
