Tuesday, 10/17–6:30pm-9:30pm
Wednesday, 10/18 to Wednesday, 10/25–observation week (4 hours scheduled with trainers)
Thursday, 10/26–6:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday, 10/28–9am-5pm–Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Sunday, 10/29–9am-5pm–Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
Wednesday, 11/1–6:30pm-9:30pm
Thursday, 11/2–6:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday, 11/4–9:00am-1:00pm
Tuesday, 11/7–6:30pm-9:30pm

Interns/Volunteers will be trained to:
Assess services needs by applying listening skills;
Utilize agency resources to match callers with needed services and information-make appropriate referrals;
Recognize and respond appropriately to persons in crisis-including callers with thoughts of suicide;
Document call reports with an eye to detail and accuracy of information entry –utilizing a computer entry system to record each contact with client.
