Community Crisis Services, Inc. is dedicated to providing quality service to those in need. As a result, CCSi has become a member or met the accrediting and certifying standards of many organizations as a dedication to service including the Standards for Excellence. The Standards for Excellence are based on fundamental values such as honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, responsibility, and accountability. Community Crisis Services, Inc. programs and services, management, fundraising and financial practices were examined in depth before the certification was awarded. Community Crisis Services, Inc. is one of the first organizations to be certified under the Standards program that began in 1998.
Certifications
- Certified by the American Association of Suicidology.
- Met and exceeded standards and requirements set by the Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene for telephone crisis intervention services.
- Accredited by the Maryland Association of Non-
Profit Organizations Seal of Excellence Program. CCSI is the only crisis center in Maryland to receive the Seal of Excellence.
